Blinkenlights is a jargon term referring to the blinking lights on the consoles of old computers which would indicate some status or failure mode. With the Blinkenlights app, you can quickly see the status of anything you can dream up using the in-app list or creating your own using
the API. You can even contribute to the list of community Blinkenlights.
Some use-cases for Blinkenlights:
- Track stock movements up/down
- Server status monitoring
- Time until the next bus arrives
- Who is currently in the office?
- Inventory tracking
- Weather conditions
- App-review status
- Fitness goal tracking
- Anything else you can dream up!
Create your own Blinkenlights using
the API. If you build it, they will blink.
